We are a community-based organization focused on helping to share sermons to make the world around us a better, happier place. With the help of our tireless staff, we organize fundraisers, exciting community-building church events, and in-depth training sessions for our volunteers' serving families.

Our Journey
20 Years of
God's Faithfulness
The Vision Is Born
Pastor Timothy Kirk returns from a mission trip with a burning call to reach the unreached. Lighting Ministries International is officially founded.
First Church Planted
Our first indigenous church is established in rural Kenya, led by a local pastor trained through our discipleship program. The congregation grows to 120 within two years.
Expansion into Asia
We launch our first outreach teams in Southeast Asia, partnering with underground house church networks to provide training and resources.
100 Churches Milestone
We celebrate 100 churches planted across 12 nations — a testament to the faithfulness of God and the generosity of our partners around the world.
Community Development Initiative
Recognizing that the Gospel transforms whole communities, we launch holistic outreach programs combining evangelism with education, clean water, and healthcare.
47 Nations & Counting
Today, Lighting Ministries International operates in 47 nations with over 340 churches planted, 12,000+ lives transformed, and a growing network of indigenous leaders.

Pastor Timothy Kirk
Pastor Timothy Kirk is the Founding Pastor of Lighting Ministries International, established in 2004 out of a deep conviction to carry the Gospel to the world's most unreached communities.
Serving through online ministry, Pastor Kirk leads with a heart for evangelism, discipleship, and church planting — connecting believers across the globe and equipping indigenous leaders to bring lasting transformation to their communities.
His vision is simple: that every person on earth deserves to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ, and that the Church must rise to meet that call in our generation.

Our Statement of Faith
Lighting Ministries International is an evangelical Christian organization. Everything we do flows from these core biblical convictions.
The Holy Scriptures
We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God — the supreme standard for all faith and practice.
The Trinity
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — co-equal, co-eternal, and co-essential.
The Person of Jesus Christ
We believe in the full deity and full humanity of Jesus Christ — His virgin birth, sinless life, atoning death, bodily resurrection, and glorious return.
Salvation by Grace Through Faith
We believe that salvation is a free gift of God's grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone — not by works, but by His finished work on the cross.
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer, empowering them for holy living, spiritual growth, and effective witness to the world.
The Church
We believe in the universal Church — the body of Christ — and the importance of the local church as the primary vehicle for discipleship, worship, and mission.
